THE LAST DAYS OF THE LAST EMPEROR.

URAL TRAGEDY

6 days/5 nights

Disputes still rage about the last days of the life of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II and his family. Why did this happen? Who exactly gave the order to destroy the tsar family, including children? Was it possible to save the Romanovs? During this tour we are also trying to answer these questions. In the tour programme we will see not only the Church on Blood, which was built on the place of the Ipatiev house where on the 17th of July in 1918 the whole Romanovs family was shot and visit Romanov’s museum but also go to see Ganya’s Pit (15 rm far from Ekaterinburg) where the bodies of royalty were thrown. A week later, the White Army drove the  Bolsheviks from the area and launched an investigation into the fate of the royal family. Local authorities tried to hide their crime. After all, they killed not only the Emperor, they killed children! Therefore, the Bolsheviks reburied the tsar family. In 1998, the remains of the Romanovs family were reburied in the Peter and Paul Cathedral in St. Petersburg
