Then we fly to the island of Iturup. In addition to the bizarre rocks and thermal spring, you will see a bay on the Pacific coast, from where the Japanese squadron left in 1941 to attack Pearl Harbor. Let’s go back to Sakhalin. Let’s see the legendary Aniva lighthouse. Next, we’ll take a boat to Moneron Island, where the water is so transparent that you can see the seabed at a depth of 40 m!

Russian schoolchildren have an expression “sit in Kamchatka”. This means sitting in the back row. The implication is that Kamchatka is very far away. Indeed, it takes 8 hours to fly  from Moscow to this amazing region! The nature of Kamchatka is incredible. In general, this is a land of volcanoes and geysers. We begin our journey from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (the city was founded in 1740). We will see Avachinskaya, Malaya, Srednyaya and Bolshaya Lagernaya bays.
