Brief information: Yakutia or the Sakha Republic, as it is also called, has become famous among foreign tourists not only for its stunning nature reserves, but also for its extreme weather. The northern part of Yakutia is washed by the seas of the Arctic Ocean. The winter period lasts from 7 to 9 months, and temperatures can drop to minus 60 degrees Celsius!!! The summer season is short but warm. The highest temperature in summer is plus 35-38 degrees Celsius.
