Brief information: The Golden Ring of Russia is a tourist route that passes through the ancient cities of North-Eastern Rus’, which have preserved unique historical and cultural monuments, as well as centers of folk crafts.
Traditionally, the Golden Ring includes eight main cities: Sergiev Posad; Pereslavl-Zalessky;
Rostov the Great; Yaroslavl; Kostroma; Ivanovo; Suzdal; Vladimir.
